“Neat place above the pub. If staying in that section, the stairs are quite narrow to get checked luggage up - but doable. We booked through Expedia and it said no attendant on site - so there was confusion on where to leave our bags and we did not receive a response so we ended up paying Premier Inn to hold our bags. “We stayed here for the weekend of26th June , what a gem of a place to find . Room was lovely , staff were very chatty and nothing was too much trouble , food excellent . Although not in the normal hot spot stays , this pub is in a quiet location but not far from anywhere . Highly recommend a stay here at this pub”

“Checked in around 9:00 pm and we were greeted by a drunk owner (remember this is also a pub!) then we were guided through the kitchen to our rooms upstairs which were dated and dirty. This is the first time that we had to block the door of the rooms because we felt unsafe. Avoid at all costs!”
