Be sure to notice there is no breakfast. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Well worth the price we paid. Only one interior entrance with no elevator, but that wasn’t an issue for us.

No Bugs!

I read reviews for rooms in Winfield and Arkansas City ks. Didnt find very many that bed bugs was not mentioned except Motel 6 in South Haven. The price of the room was very reasonable and had good reviews. This is an older building and doesnt have a lot of frills but it was clean, cool, quiet and comfortable. I will definitely stay again.

Motel 6 South Haven, Kansas

Had an excellent stay, just me and my little dog. Room clean, quiet, bed comfortable, young man who checked me in was very nice, good personality. The gas station next door has good sandwiches, burgers and pizzas. One website said it was booked so tried another site and got a room reservation. They were not full. That website is losing business for them, unfortunately.

Looks like they have done a like up grading. Ceiling tile in the bathroom has a four inch gap in one area. Wall in bathroom and the room could use a little elbow grease. Staff was very nice

Pros: Was right off the highway, staff was attentive & friendly. Cons: Room had two doors, interior & a exterior, issued key only worked on the exterior door. After staying one night, came back the dirty bathroom lenin had been removed but not replaced, same for all the soap.

The young man at the desk was so friendly. He noticed we were older and changed our room to ground floor, then made sure our room key worked. We were so tired we didn’t complain about the bed pad hadn’t dried all the way before put on bed. We just left the covers up and slept with the bedspread.. it was clean, just damp.. We will stay here again…

Front desk staff was pleasant on arrival. We were assigned a room that the outside door lock could not be operated with a key card. It was nearly at the opposite corner of the building from the only operating exterior door into the lobby (mind you it was single digits with -20 wind chill). Staff then said that the outside door did not work. Would’ve been nice to know. We were then assigned a different room a couple of doors down that had a trick to close the outside door. Better than the previous I guess. During the overnight we discovered that the heater did not respond to temperature changes on the controller and instead required it to be physically shut off to prevent a sweltering room in the middle of the night. This did not make for a restful stay. Having stayed at this location multiple times over the years I definitely expected a better experience. Tough to find lodging in this area so either you travel farther or it’s what you settle with.

The room was dirty, so run down. The towel bar fell off the wall when we touched it. The ceiling was falling down in the bathroom. The flouring was damaged from water. The cable TV wasn’t working, couldn’t hold a Chanel.
