We had a one night stay at this hotel and it made for a good stopover. The chalets were comfortable. Ours had a double and twin room connected by a bathroom, and had a sofa and fridge. The beds were comfy and with netting over the windows, you could open them to let a breeze in and hear the frogs without worrying about insects. Each chalet has a private terrace with a beautiful view of the lake. The swimmimg pools were a real highlight, with an amazing backdrop of the lake. The warm pool was a real treat. Breakfast was basic and we decided to go elsewhere for our evening meal. Don't bother with the path down the lake, it is a bit underwhelming and litter-strewn and was very boggy in places after the rain!

We booked this property on a whim just passing through Lake Arenal for one night. This is definitely a place I’d go back to. The photos do not do it justice!! The individual cottages are absolutely adorable, spacious, and have a killer view. The restaurant on the property is also wonderful—the food is superb!
Million dollar view and a pacific sunset. We plan on coming back here!

Wonderful property we had a delightful stay. Huge thanks to Chris for being a great host and so welcoming! The room was beautiful, so peaceful and secluded with an amazing view (and toucans in the tree opposite!) and the pool area is equally stunning. Restaurant is also lovely (although not cheap) and all the staff are so welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel one of my favourite places I've ever stayed!

Good breakfast. Nice pool and good views. I learned the hard way that this hotel is not close to La Fortuna and getting a taxi or Uber into the city is hard to find or very expensive so beware of commuting challenges.
