Good breakfast. Nice pool and good views. I learned the hard way that this hotel is not close to La Fortuna and getting a taxi or Uber into the city is hard to find or very expensive so beware of commuting challenges.

Wonderful property we had a delightful stay. Huge thanks to Chris for being a great host and so welcoming! The room was beautiful, so peaceful and secluded with an amazing view (and toucans in the tree opposite!) and the pool area is equally stunning. Restaurant is also lovely (although not cheap) and all the staff are so welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel one of my favourite places I've ever stayed!

Loved our honeymoon stay here! Perfect home base for a week of exploring the area. Loved the pool and especially loved the amazing generous and delicious free breakfast every morning! The only issue we had were tiny ants in our room that made a few surfaces unusable, and we had to be very cautious not to prepare food in the room. But we understand that’s normal in the jungle so we weren’t bothered.

We loved our stay here. The property was fantastic, with a view that cannot be beat. The service, cleanliness, wifi and concierge support was excellent. We were one of the few that didn’t have their own car and so relied on drivers to take us to La Fortuna and activities. This was about $70 each way and so just be aware this property is about 40 minutes out of town. The peace and quiet, however was lovely after a day of activities. Would highly recommend.

This is a classic, elegant upscale hotel with well maintained, individual cottages each with a spectacular view of Lake Arenal (when the clouds lift). The food is outstanding, both the included breakfast and the ala carte lunch/dinner menu. The service is excellent and staff very helpful and friendly. It rained all 5 days we stayed here. But the rain did not keep us from hiking, birding, going to hot springs or hanging out at the covered hot tub on premises. Overall, it was a wonderful, relaxing and adventuresome vacation and I would highly recommend La Mansion.

Wonderful stay. Very nice team and they even had staff to show us our suite. We stayed one night and did the fishing tour in the morning. Gorgeous view right outside our porch with nice wild life and fauna. They have breakfast included in the morning with choice of how to cook the eggs. This hotel was amazing. When we arrived they greeted us with a welcome cocktail which we enjoyed in the open air restaurant/bar overlooking Lake Arenal. the room was clean and very pretty. The rooms are individual casitas with small patios in front overlooking the lake. We had a small fridge and a coffee maker in the room, very handy for enjoying morning coffee on our patio with beautiful views. There are 2 pools, one heated, also overlooking the lake. the entire property is meticulously maintained with lawns and lush flowers and vegetation. And the best part is the extremely friendly and helpful staff.
