Excellent access to the slopes, board/ski storage and the best sauna I've ever experienced. The room was of good quality but small for 3 people, cramped so be wary if you are booking this option with a bed sofa like in our case. The TV was really old and awkwardly positioned beside the bed, banged off it a few times getting in and out of bed. As in other scandinavian hotels we've visited the bed linen was 'noisy' and very soft pillows. Breakfast was excellent but there was zero interaction with the staff, no welcome, no conversation, it all felt very robotic especially compared to the bar staff who were warm and friendly.

Perfect for skiing and great after ski. After ski closes by 6pm. Sauna and Hot tub is a great way to relax after a day in the slopes. Funicular goes from hotel to town every 20min.

Lovely stay

Location is fantastic - very easy access to town using the free train or a 15-20 minute walk. All staff were lovely and helpful. Great breakfast. Only downside is that the rooms are dated but given what we paid for the room we would definitely stay again. Bathtub and sauna a big plus!

The nicest place in Åre

FjĂ€llgĂ„rden is an amazing hotel in Åre with the best location possible in the middle of the slope - full ski-in/ski-out, but also accessible by car, taxi or the legendary Åre funicular. Many of the rooms have great views of the mountain and the valley and if you then ad one of the best after-skis, nice classic alpine cuisine and a very cozy atmosphere overall this is the perfect mountain lodging in Åre!

Rummet var vÀldigt mysigt, rent och vÀldig fin utsikt. Personalen var bara pÄ plats mella 08-11 dÄ der var lÄgsÀsong men dom var vÀldigt trevliga det lilla man prata med dom. FrĂ„n vĂ„rt rum hade vi en magisk utsikt. Vi sĂ„g delar av Åreskutan och hade utsikt mot byn. Vi fick se nĂ„gra underbara solnedgĂ„ngar. Vi bokade en stund i badtunnan och dĂ€refter bastu. FrĂ€scht och inte överdrivet varmt. God frukost och personalen var snabbt framme och fyllde pĂ„ sĂ„ det finns alltid frĂ€sch mat. Gott bröd, ljuvliga pannkakor och min man sade att det var fantastiskt gott bacon. Trots att det var fullt pĂ„ hotellet sĂ„ mĂ€rktes det inte. Det var lugnt och skönt. SĂ€ngarna var sköna och badrummet var frĂ€scht med produkter frĂ„n Björk. Den enda nackdelen Ă€r kostnaden för taxi upp och nedför backen nĂ€r bergbanan var stĂ€ngd. Vi Ă€r supernöjda och kommer gĂ€rna tillbaka

Vi bodde som familj i ett loftvĂ„ningsrum pĂ„ FjĂ€llgĂ„rden i Åre och trivdes verkligen frĂ„n första stund. Rummet var rymligt, praktiskt och hade gott om plats för oss alla, samtidigt som det kĂ€ndes mysigt med den öppna planlösningen. LĂ€get Ă€r fantastiskt – nĂ€ra liftar och vandringsleder, med en underbar utsikt över Åresjön. Personalen förtjĂ€nar verkligen ett extra plus. I receptionen möttes vi av ett varmt leende och hjĂ€lpsamma tips om aktiviteter, och i baren skapades en avslappnad och vĂ€lkomnande stĂ€mning Frukosten var generös och passade bĂ„de vuxna och barn, med mĂ„nga alternativ och nĂ„gra fina lokala inslag. SĂ€ngarna var bekvĂ€ma och rummen tysta, vilket gjorde det lĂ€tt att sova gott. Efter dagar fyllda med aktiviteter blev poolen och bastun vĂ„r favorit – barnen badade lĂ€nge medan vi vuxna kunde koppla av och njuta av fjĂ€llutsikten. StĂ€dningen höll toppklass, bĂ„de vid ankomst och under hela vistelsen.
