“It's ok if you just want a bed for the evening. Very tired throughout and needs a full refurb desperately. The reception was sketchy at best and often unmanned. Don't bother with breakfast. It's not good That being said, the bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. Shanklin itself is also run down. We used the hotel as a base for the scooter rally, so didn't spend much time there, although we did like The Falcon pub. A proper local boozer. If you only need to get to Ryde, if...

“Amazing experience”

“Visited isle of wight for day. Hotel is 10 mins walk to the Sandown beach. Room was clean and spacious.”

“A relaxing feel runs through the hotel and out into the gardens. The view from the restaurant is beautiful. Herons love it too! The staff were smiley and attentive, Our room was clean and the towels soft and fluffy. We made use of the spa facilities every day. The pool temperature was great for us.”

“Our second visit to the Inn, sorry to say that the accommodation showing signs of wear - bathroom floor taped up, not consistent with boutique accommodation. Good food excellent breakfast with first class service”
