You get what you pay for. Very basic room, shared washroom is cramped and very old (no mirror above the sink in the men’s room). Extremely loud continuous noise from the pub/restaurant below. Lots of noise from other rooms and the street once the pub closes. Not worth it. But yes, excellent location.

The bed linen was clean, the sink did not have a plug in the room only two channels worked on television, carpet was dirty. I understood that we shared a bathroom and toilet and that wouldnt have been an issues if it was cleaned regularly or that soap dispenser had soap in it. The accommodation and facilities need a revamp, old ceramic soap holders were broken over the bath.

We really enjoyed our stay. Was great having the restaurant downstairs and the food was delicious. It was a basic room, but that's all we needed for overnight. Spectacular view of the bay.

Friendly staff Quiet and safe. Very clean . The rooms had a comfy bed and water taps and a support for cases. However there was no chair. Also a tv would have greatly increased the comfort of the room for minimal cost .

This is an amazing Hotel with its own signature Vodka, Gin and numerous boutique beers. The tasting room and bottle shop everyone should experience at least once and right opposite the beach. Location! Location! Location! Great food , great parking and nice friendly staff.

Location was good. Never go back to stay as holiday with family because no water facilities and my kids got sick due to using sink water in the room 8. No toiletries given, back access where bad smelling coming, toilet was not clean. I do not recommend to visit in this accommodation with family.

Good for one night stops along the great ocean road, rooms are above the bar — so noise is as expected, but it stopped around 10pm. Washrooms and showers could use an upgrade though. Overall adequate for a budget stay.

Great location and beer was nice, but rooms were dirty and beds very uncomfortable, you can hear loud music until about 11pm. Shared bathrooms were dirty and only 2 showers and toilets for all the rooms.. wouldn’t recommend if you need a good rest, but guess it’s cheaper option if you’re on a budget.. could be cheaper for what it is, a hostel..

I was a bit disappointed with the lack of the little things eg: coffee and tea making facilities , little soaps in bedroom, tissues and extra pillows, it would have made all the difference, especially for what they were charging for the night.

Room wasn’t available till after 5.30pm. Beds were comparable to sleeping on the ground, clean sheets with stained covers. Tap in room leaked constantly. Shared bathroom was dirty, piss on the ground and condoms in the sink. The pub itself is ok but I’d never stay there again.

Staff were excellent. Very friendly and efficient. Room was minimalist but comfortable. No TV or coffee/tea production option. Hallway light beamed into the room all night through a window above the entry door (no blind or curtain). Doors were ultra thin so every noise was heard (People walking to, during and from shared bathroom use. Door very squeaky.
