Well kept older home turned hotel, small room but well furnished. Conveniently located to walk Apalachicola. The only issue was that we couldn’t find an ice dispenser.

We had a large antique room with a tall 4 poster bed and armoire and fireplace. The bed was very comfortably. There was a kuerig with plenty of coffee and a fridge. The bathroom was small but adequate. Sadly the electronic key app didnt work and we had to go to a nearby hotel to get a key card. Also sadly on a hot day the ice machine was frozen up. The cat was sweet.

Electronic key app didnt work. The guy drove a key over from the other hotel. The room was not antique fancy like the others rooms. It smelled musty. There was a full kitchen and pretty big bathroom. It was roomy. The cat is friendly.

Unstaffed property, no front desk. App for keyless entry was easy to use but only 1 person could use it. Property is historic but rooms could do with an update. Check in instructions don’t make it clear there are 3 buildings & not to follow Google map directions. Bed was very high, shower stall too narrow. Rooms were dark & dingy. Inexpensive so recommend if you are on a budget. Will stay at the Gibson Inn next time.

Unit we stayed in was not cleaned properly, water contained substancial sulfur smell (water condition was blamed on the City water issue), virtual check in was not user friendly and eventually we had to go off property o pick up a room key, Jacuzzi tub was inoperable. All in all the room was unstisfactory and it was called a suite.

Absolutely a charming inn. Beds so comfy. Large room. Right in Downtown, which is a sweet little town on the beach. For the money it’s a great find. Needed a good spring cleaning stairway bannister, window sills, wood trim, otherwise very clean

Coombs Inn Veranda Suite

We stayed in one of The Veranda Suites. It was clean and had everything described. It was definitely a plus when we walked in and saw there was a sitting area. The sitting area furniture and beds were beautiful antiques. And we had our own private porch with our own cat. That was a special treat.
