The room is quite large for Japan. We especially liked there was an extra sink so someone could use it while someone was in the shower. The location was in good walking diatance to train, visitor center, and apple factory. Plenty of good food optuons as well. Curry Ramen was my favorite at a couple places.

The staff were very friendly, the hotel was very nice and a good location. Rooms were clean, with some wear and tear, but it didn’t make it seem dirty. The only negative is they just recently made all the rooms smoke free, so our room smelt of smoke, even with running the air purifier and having the window cracked open. But overall I’d stay there again.

Clean room, nice and helpful staff. Approx 10mins walk to A-Factory (pic), Aomori Train Stn and Seaside. Love the quiet environment. As ART Hotel is approx 6mins to the bus stn, a gentle reminder for those taking the JR Coach to Aomori Airport. Be at least 10mins early at the bus stn. JR bus might be late even though google map showed the coach left (our experience). If the coach arrived fully occupied, they’ll send a 2nd Coach. My suggestion is to go 2hr earlier before flight so you can relax and enjoy nice food at the Departure Hall before boarding. Attached Arrival Bus Stop from Aomori Airport (near) and opp Departure Bus Stop to airport (far). Cheers!

The room put off a feeling "this is a pretty nice little room," the moment I walked in. The furniture was nice, the TV was "nice but not huge," the carpet was nice, the bathroom was nice. The big down-side: It was uncomfortably warm in that room (in July, in Aomori), although the fact that I brought my own fan pretty much offset that. **Positives: *The black-out curtains weren't messing around. Even when it was sunny out, you wouldn't know it, if you had them drawn; they also kept the room cooler, when drawn. *The bed was super-comfortable for both sleeping on and sitting on while working on my laptop. *The TV made it easy to plug in my Switch and play some TotK. *The bathroom was 'generally pretty nice' but the shower was a stand-out; powerful, warm, and convenient. A ~very nice~ shower. *Check-in was 'pretty quick and mostly painless;' check-out was 'handed a guy my card, said thank you and was on my way.' *There was one of each of a Family Mart, 7-11 and Lawson within maybe a 4-7 min radius of the hotel. **Neutral: *I didn't check to see if there was a coin laundry in the hotel. *There were two vending machines, but I didn't use them. I don't think they had either hot coffee (which I like after meals) or zero-calorie side (which I like ~with~ meals), so they weren't useful to me. *Negatives: *The AC was weak; I supplemented it with my electric hand-fan to stay comfortable. *Room was sparkling, except for spots that clearly go ignored (eg. trim; behind stuff).

Really nice hotel. Staff were great and were extremely accomodating by using a translating device to communicate! The free apple juice was a great bonus as well. There are not many places to go around the hotel but the hotel itself was excellent. Would stay again!

The artwork in the lobby is beautiful. The area nearby is very walkable the food options are a little limited depending on the time of day you like to eat. If you are a late night person looking for a quiet time near a simple harbor this city, and this hotel will be perfect for you.
