Vacations Close To Noge Otsuka Ancient Tomb

Great Experience

Room was large, especially for Japan standards. The king bed was also much wider than a standard king size. The rate for lounge access was a bit underwhelming, so if you can save money without it, I'd skip it. Also, we booked the room for 2 adults and 1 child, and apparently the 'included lounge breakfast " only applied for 2 adults. The hotel wanted over $30 USD for our child so we just opted to not eat breakfast there.

Excellent hotel right in the heart of Shinjuku, just a few steps away from Isetan department store. Super convenient to everywhere! Surrounded by eateries and shops, highly recommended for first time travellers. Bonus points are their washing machine inside the room and lobby drinks service.

Decent stay overall with a prime location. It is a large property, so don’t expect a personal or particularly warm experience. Front desk service could also use improvement—after being locked out of my room, I had a very long wait just to get the door opened, and was informed a replacement key required a fee. While the policy and wait were understandable (though not ideal), the staff member (Jang) was noticeably cold and unwelcoming throughout.

The front desk staff was so helpful when I wanted to change my room type upon arrival and juggled to make things work. So helpful with late night laundry issues (operator error!) and so helpful with local recommendations and advice. Quiet, clean, comfortable and having laundry machine in room a bonus. Location convenient to subway and shops. Would definitely stay again.
