Staff were lovely and helpful. Room was clean. Great location. Just not the best value for money as the windows to the rooms just open up on to the hallway. So there’s a feeling of claustrophobia and lack of privacy if you have your window open. I’m sure there’s other hotels that are better value for money.

The only reason that I gave a 3-star review is because the room I was in had no windows and very poor ventilation. If you get a room on the second floor they might have windows. With no window for natural light and no ventilation I found it difficult to sleep and would not stay here again unless I could be guaranteed a second-floor room. At the same time, it was very quiet, the staff are lovely, and the room was very clean. I had hot water if I left the shower on at a trickle. Walk a few doors down to the French cafe or to Boehme for excellent coffee!

A Antigua Arcangel Hotel I was really happy with Hotel Posada Arcangel. I got a terrific price on it through Expedia. For a small room it was quite spacious. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. We communicated through a translation app since I don’t know any Spanish and he didn’t know a lot of English, nonetheless we managed well. The breakfast was really good with lots of fruit and pancakes.

I would not recommend staying at this hotel. The rooms are very small, not appealing. The bathroom has toilet that barely let you sit due to space with wall. The room windows did not all have curtains and the room ended up being pretty bright at night. Sound insulation was also very poor.

Absolutely gross room, hair in both beds. The “window” to the hallway did not close. No hot water. Tv did not work. I immediately left and booked elsewhere.
