It was a very interesting old building and I appreciated the helpfulness of the staff. We were told there was a basket of snacks in our room that we could eat at a cost, but there was nothing there. There is no pool on site, but the restaurant was very good.

I liked the location and the historic vibe. I marked down the room because there were tiles missing from the floor in the kitchen area, the bed was very hard, and only a thin blanket so I was cold and didn’t sleep well. My son thought his bed was fine.

The best thing about this hotel is the location but registration is in a completely different building so it's a bit complicated. The cleaning staff was great. Don't scuff or "damage" anything or you'll have to pay for it...very ridiculous standards for substandard amenities and policies. We reserved one type of room and got something completely different with a higher price tag and were told that's the best they could do so we had to pay the additional amount for smaller beds. And the beds were very uncomfortable (probably old). Also need to be aware that any rooms on any streets will be very noisy well into early morning...windows need to be open because there is no ac and rooms got very stuffy. We're not planning on returning to this property...there are MANY others with equal location perks and other perks that are nicer all around.
