Had a great stay at Hotel Casa Rustica in Antigua. Quaint, simple, and exactly my vibe—comfortable and close to everything. I felt safe the entire time, which meant a lot traveling solo. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the dogs were incredibly sweet. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect central location. Staff was amazing, super friendly, helpful and flexible as I was delayed and arrived very late. I would definitely come back and spend more time enjoying all that it has to offer. I only was here for one night as I was going on the hike to the Volcano the next morning but it was a perfect five minute walk to the tour office. Gracias !

Everything was great. But i didnt like that why were trying to upcharge me for eatting a snacm from their basket. Saying it was due to a minimum fee. They allowed me to just pay for the signle item, but something like this shouldnt of even been a issue. It was from the female at the front desk. The other staff were very kind and all the amenities were great for what it was. Would stay again if they didnt try to surprise me with trying to get more money out of me.

The hotel is in a great location and is clean. They also have a very friendly dog at the hotel and collect donations for dog rescue which was very nice of them to do. Staff were good and allowed for early check-in. Main concern with this hotel is that the rooms are quite cramped and are significantly smaller than what they appear in the photos. While a 1-2 night stay should not cause any issues, a longer stay might be less comfortable. Other concern is that they only had daylight curtains in the room, which not only limited privacy but also made the rooms less dark at night. I would suggest the owners to address this simple issue.
