We enjoyed our stay at the Optimum especially the tranquility and spa were superb. The customer service was excellent. The manager( Bartun ) was very helpful, he assisted in all our requirements. We were nourished and refreshed, we will certainly come back for our next vacation.

Clean hotel, friendly staff. The breakfast is basic but as it’s included in the room price makes it very reasonable. The staff are very helpful. Walking distance to the waterfalls but part from that, not much around the area. If you are on a budget this hotel is great value for money but I wouldn’t say it’s luxury

It wasn’t terrible but a few things need to be addressed like cleaner linen and towels and possibly upgrade showers and equipment. If you don’t like to hear planes flying overhead every 10 mins you may want to reconsider. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We regularly stay at the Optimum Hotel and Spa in Lara, and our recent trip as usual was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. They are always amazing—attentive, friendly, and ready to go above and beyond to ensure everything is perfect. The location is another highlight. Not only is it convenient, but it also makes you feel like you’re part of the local community. The area even has a touch of glamour that reminded us of Miami! As for the facilities, they’re outstanding. The indoor pool is beautifully maintained and offers a serene retreat, while the outdoor pool is equally impressive, perfect for relaxing under the sun. All in all, the Optimum Hotel and Spa is a gem in Lara, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!

Out room was not in the main. Building but rather in a smaller building behind the hotel. It was not as fancy as the main building, I‘m guessing this is because we got a pretty cheap deal including flights. The rooms were fine, we did have issues with electricity 2 days. The staff are super friendly though and breakfast was brilliant. The pool is always kept clean.

not a luxury stay:(

our stay at this hotel was overall acceptable but definitely not worth the high price upon arrival we found a large blood stain on the bed which had simply been covered with a sheet it was right next to the pillow making it very uncomfortable and unappealing to sleep in there were no double beds available so we were given two single beds pushed together which kept separating throughout the night far from ideal the room lacked a balcony or a proper window just a small one that made the space feel quite claustrophobic the turkish coffee we ordered was disappointing and the çıtır mantı served on our first day tasted like low quality store bought food not what we expected given the upscale pricing while the amenities and room conditions did not live up to expectations or justify the cost i must say the staff were genuinely kind and helpful their hospitality was excellent and they allowed us a late check out for a small additional fee which we appreciated one surprising aspect was that the hotel doesn’t serve alcohol unusual for a 3 star establishment in summary while the service was lovely the facilities and food did not meet the standards of a luxury stay i didn’t feel connected to the atmosphere at all

I stayed the hotel Sept 18 to Sept 20, 22. The condition of hotel is very good and clean. My room is suite very comfortable. The staffs are friendly. The only complaints is the AC from living room not cool. Otherwise, everything is perfect

Lovely hotel, clean and modern. However, the drink in the room mini bar are extortionate, so don't use them. I was in a rush to leave the hotel for the airport and had to wait for them to check my mini bar, so in a hurry I paid the bill (which I believe I was overcharged)and emailed them twice when at home for a breakdown. They have never replied! Also the breakfast was lovely but it was not kept stocked and guests were waiting for cups and food to arrive

On a flight path with plane passing overhead throughout the night. As on 9th floor planes extremely close over balcony. Rooms not sound proof as could hear neighbour clearly. Half pool lounges broken and all needed a good clean. drink charges high

I will never use Expedia again due to their lack of compassion. I was admitted to the hospital for a heart condition and was unable to travel. Despite providing all the necessary paperwork and evidence to explain my situation, I was denied a refund for this hotel . As a result, I lost all my money. I cannot recommend your services to anyone as I never used these facilities.

Rather 3 star, not 5 star

First received smoking room with curtains laying on coach. Then waited 1,5 hrs for wifi to be activated because reception kept on forgetting. When I complained, he laughed at me. Breakfast was poor, many things finished and they don’t bring more. When they do, eggs are raw. When I checked out, I asked again for the manager to call me, but of course no call!
