Amazing hospitality! Every detail of the room was thoughtful and comfortable. Bedding, towels, temperature, every detail was perfect. The breakfasts were delicious and so much variety was provided. Henry and Linda are fabulous hosts and their home is both welcoming and charming with all the comforts of home. They are very knowledgeable of the area, places to eat and local attractions. Henry is a wonderful chef and our breakfasts would be something found on a menu of fine dining! Where would you get eggs Benny topped with scallops!? We were spoiled! We will highly recommend this place!

We cannot say enough good things about this B&B, the house has been beautifully restored, the decor is lovely, the rooms are outstandingly comfortable and modern, the ensuite bathroom was great, the hosts were so gracious and friendly, we learned a lot about Digby and the history of the home the b&b is located in. They provided great recommendations on things to see and do based on our interests which we could never have found in a tourist guide. There is a beautiful verandah with seating off the dining room with a spectacular view of the Digby waterfront and harbour. The breakfast was gourmet quality and perfectly prepared. Our hosts helped us secure a dinner reservation at the Crow’s Nest seafood restaurant, which helped us avoid a line up to get a table. We wished we had booked a few nights instead of just one, the Hillside B&B is a destination unto itself.
