This Resort was amazing, the staff were so awesome! Our cabin was super clean! This place reminds of the movie dirty dancing. It was magical walking back to our cabin at night. So quite and peaceful.

The staff and service were excellent. Buffet breakfast was lovely. The Pines Resort and Spa needs an interior beautification. We stayed in a cabin because the elevator in the main lodge broke down and I would not be able to climb 22 stairs to the 2nd floor room. I am not sure what the lodge rooms look like; however it appears to be a popular tourist destination in Digby.

We enjoyed our stay, property is beautiful with helpful staff and enjoyed the entertainment . We found the rooms were rather dated. Would suggest adding fans in the bathrooms and access to open windows would be a benefit.

It was a beautiful building old with curved doors. I love that it was booked after staff was good. The dining room food was delicious and the buffet for breakfast. The only thing that I thought was missing was a little refrigerator in the room but it was a beautiful place

Elevator was not working. Room we had initially had huge stains on wood floor. The king bed mattress was really sagging. We finally got a room that was nicer. But still had signs that deep cleaning needed to be scheduled. This property has good bones, but rooms need refreshing. Breakfast was wonderful. 5 star and service was excellent.

The staff were lovely, the breakfast great. The cottage we were in was shoddy: no chair available with the desk provided, an air conditioner that didn't work properly, and was duct taped into the wndow, and curtains not designed to accommodate an air conditioner and a pool deck that just looks dirty. This property needs some serious maintenence.

Beautiful Old Building, grand looking but VERY TIRED, needs a lot of work and updating. the drapes were in tatters, No working elevator, No Bar service as someone had phoned in sick, i was told to go to the restaurant but that bar was a cupboard. the shower didn't work properly between bath and shower settings. the resturant food was very good with a decent buffet breakfast. but definitely not worth the money we paid.
