Vacations Close To Annapolis Harbor

I don't mind paying $650 for two nights if the property is worth it. The breakfast was less than stellar, The heat in my room was unadjustable, The toilet paper holder was non-existent. I understand this is only a three-star facility but when you are charging four star prices I expect these things to be better done.

Stayed here several times before. It is a gilded era mansion with a modern wing of hotel rooms attached. The modern rooms are good except for the barn door bathroom door, no bedside table on one side of the bed, cheap furnishings and flooring showing wear, but we wanted to stay in one of the rooms in the actual mansion this time, even though I expect they are smaller. They checked us in to a modern room without saying anything and when I asked, they said they had an "availability problem." Ok, they overbooked the mansion rooms, but at least day something and apologize instead of just trying to pull the wool over my eyes. They also said I probably prefer the modern room since the room I booked was in the basement. BASEMENT? Nothing in the description of Deluxe Mansion Suite indicates basement. They have guest rooms on the 3rd and 4th rooms so that's what I was expecting. Staff was rude. The only way to get luggage cart in and out is through a wheelchair lift that requires special instructions. Electronic door code only worked once in many different tries.

Restaurant was unavailable during most of the stay. I.e. Closed for private event, certain menu items unavailable, was only able to dine at restaurant twice during the week long stay had to walk to other options. Lots of personal and personnel discussions from the front desk which could be heard across the lobby. Okay for the price and location.
