I felt like I was bothering the front desk staff when I arrived to check in. He was curt, just checked us and didn't offer any welcome or tell us anything about the breakfast or other amenities. Also, the lobby was real dark with lights out. First I thought they might be closed but it seems that was the norm. Additionally, the hallways and stairways are dark and have motion sensor detectors to turn on the light. I commend them for not wasting energy but it also makes the hotel feel creepy. Another thing that I found odd was the furniture in the lobby. They were upholstered with plastic material. Not vinyl but plastic! Breakfast was traditional breakfast and was good with different varieties of cheese, bread, olives, etc.
