We loved our three nights here. Ricardo, the host was amazing with organizing our daily activities and adventures. Our room was cool and quiet. The island is safe and beautiful. We cannot wait to return and cannot thank Ricardo enough for all of his help.

This is a national park for Brazil. The inn provides the basic, is clean and the host Rucardo is absolutely amazing. Ask him before booking tours ahead of your trip. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, coming to the island may not be your cup of tea. If you are looking for peace, nature, quaint shops, snorkeling and observing animals in their natural habitat this is for you. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. I hope I get the opportunity.

Pousada Costa Verde was a nice stay on Ilha Grande. It was very clean and well maintained (though this is because of very strict rules, so if you're intent is to party, this is not the spot for you). The manager is super nice and provides a lot of great advice based on your expectations of your trip. The pousada is off the beaten path and does not come with breakfast like other pousadas on the mainland do.

Beautiful hotel

A great place to stay! Close to many food options and the ferry port. The owner was very kind and helped us arrange tours and a transfer to Rio De Janeiro. Would definitely recommend!

The kindest host

Ricardo was absolutely amazing! He told us all the best tours to go on, and then organised the ones we wanted. He made sure we were always comfortable and was very hospitable. Lovely place, highly recommend!

Pousada linda super aconchegante, faltou luz mas o proprietário entregou uma luminária, mas ainda bem que não teve mosquito. Fica a 10/8 minutos do centro, numa rua subindo, longe barulho mas super tranquila de chegar. Tinha 3 cobertores, água bem quente, cama otima.

Die Unterkunft übertraf unsere Erwartungen. Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig gelegen in einer Seitengasse. Einkaufs- und Ausgehmöglichkeiten sind 5min zu Fuß entfernt. Die Zimmer waren äußerst sauber und nett hergerichtet. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Gastgeber: Schon vor unserer Ankunft wurden wir durch ihn bei der Anreise unterstützt in Form von Tipps zur Überfahrt und Zeiten der Fähre. Nach unserer Ankunft hat er sich eine menge Zeit genommen uns die Highlights der Insel zu erklären. Die Tipps war Gold wert und haben unseren Aufenthalt zu einem der Besten in ganz Brasilien gemacht. Sehr gerne wieder!!

Impresionante Isla, impresionantes personas.

Ilha Grande es el sitio más seguro que he conocido de Brasil. Nosotros llegamos de noche y nos estaba esperando Ricardo con un montón de actividades y recomendaciones para hacer durante nuestros días en la Isla. Su trato cercano y personal hacen que te sientas como en casa. De hecho, nos gustó tanto y lo pasamos tan bien que decidimos alargar nuestra estancia un día más. El último día nos guardaron las maletas mientras nosotros íbamos de excursión a Lopes Mendes. Tanto las excursiones como la vuelta a Río de Janeiro nos la reservo Ricardo. Y cómo nada es imposible, volveremos en verano para seguir conociendo la isla. Saludos desde España.
