On the positive side, the grounds are lovely and the rooms spacious, clean, and comfortable, with good bathroom/shower, but not luxurious by any means, we have stayed in similar accommodations in Japan that was a lot more charming and authentic. I will say that there is a wonderfully pleasant quiet/mediative vibe to the entire property and the walking foot path is a nice touch, although not impeccably maintained. Several misleading signs abound, like needing reservation for sauna when you don't, beware of snakes that are non existent, paying for coffee at breakfast when others apparently just help themselves, etc so that was a bit confusing. Frankly we found this property overpriced for what you get. . Tried both of Korean breakfasts offered and they were enjoyable but not exceptional by any means. Staff is friendly but not very attentive. You had to ask for everything (water at meals, how to get to your room, etc). Not related to the property, but will add that the reason for coming here is the village, which I'm glad we saw, but honestly it's a one and done kind of thing...overly touristy and underwhelming with little to see/do. Could be that we visited in a Monday when many things were closed. The mask museum has an excellent collection, so do not miss. All in all, glad we came but would not return.

Overall the hotel is impressive and it is probably the best way to experience staying in a Hanok. It is an upscale Hanok hotel with nice furniture and the rooms are spacious. The rooms are clean, air-conditioned, the bathrooms are modern, and the complex is worth visiting. I just have one concern. I noticed there were termites crawling all over the room. I assumed they were termites because they don't bite and I saw them outside the building as well as inside the room. They got onto my bedding so I had to spray down my quilt every night. I didn't have a single bug bite during my 2 night stay, but I was disturbed.

La camera era pulita e in stile hanok coreano. Il personale alla reception è stato gentilissimo e all'arrivo ci ha spiegato le attrazioni del luogo. La cena che offrono è di livello e vale la spesa.

벌레가 나오니 예민한 사람은 이점 유의. 욕실 매우 불편,누런 타올,룸슬리퍼 없음. 신발 벗어 넣어둘 곳이 없음.바깥에 놔두어야 해서 걱정됐음. 전체적으로 직원수가 부족하여 친절하기는 하나 여유없음이 느껴짐. 식사는 정갈하고 맛있고 좋았음. 멋진 한옥 뷰에 기대가 컸던만큼 아쉬움이 컸음. 운영시스템이나 접객 메뉴얼,객실 재점검이 필요할듯.
