So we show up at our "hotel" and it's just a neighborhood, the building has a bunch of abandoned cars out front and no parking. I call the hotel's number. No answer. I go knock on the front door many times, no answer. I call again, no answer. I finally go in the front door & it's just a bunch of apartments. I call again, no answer. I call the "hotel" number from another phone & they hang up on me. I call again & they answered. I said I was trying to check-in & didn't know where to go. They said there was a flood and we couldn't stay. I said ok, well will I at least get my money back. And he asks what location? How can you say you've had a flood & not know my location? I gave the location & confirmation number & he acted like he saw it in his system & would get me my money back. It has been 10 days & I still haven't seen the refund. So I have taken it up with my credit card company (when I searched for the charge I found they actually had charged me twice & I hadn't noticed). Never attempt to stay at this "hotel", map the address and look at the place (I wish I had before booking). Luckily another hotel was available for us to stay in as it was now 10pm.
