Only negative would be the 945pm closing of the bar - would have liked it to stay open later, especially after being out on tours we wanted to come back to the hotel and have a drink...many people felt the same and were turned away...otherwise great stay!

Really nice hotel situated close to the airport yet right on a lake. The sea planes taking off and landing were fun to watch but were a little noisy in the evening but they stopped at around 10pm so it was okay.

$400 is not cheap. Its less than 5 minutes from the airport/pretty much right next to planes and cargo, etc. Its an old hotel that is showing its age. For the money we expected more. Having said that, the staff was crazy good. We loved them. They were so nice and accmmodating. We could not have been happier talking with them and learning about their experiences in Anchorage.

Place is very close to airport. Bed was very uncomfortable- please upgrade your mattresses. My back hurts today. Window Air conditioning too loud and doesn’t cool the room. The staff is very kind but the place needs updating.
