Always have loved this hotel for years. Property needs fake owls on the roof to keep gulls from nesting there. Sidewalks are covered in bird poop and feathers and any car in the vicinity gets trashed by birds.

it was close to the train station which was nice seeing we took the Denali star to Talkeetna for a day trip. just a short walk. it was also close to many of the popular restaurants. staff was friendly and the shuttle was great the negative was our room had an issue with hot water that was eventfully sorted out

We stayed at the property for the convenience of shuttles to both the train and the airport. It is an older property and shows its age but I felt confident that it was clean with crisp sheets and fluffy towels. We loved the area on the creek. It definitely was priced fairly and if you are staying mainly for a place to sleep it's a great bargain.
