The Castle

The check-in was quick and efficient, and I appreciate the manager's courtesy and friendliness. The room was comfy and quiet, it was clean, the king bed was just right. TV, fridge, and microwave we're all working perfectly. The room did come with a free breakfast for both of us, which was not a buffet type breakfast, but you could order from a short menu which offered about six or eight options. The service was friendly, the food was good.

Dawn was very helpful, she is an asset to the property. The gentleman at the front desk was also helpful. I would recommend the property if you are traveling and need somewhere stop and take a break. The breakfast was awesome, dawn did an excellent job.

Front Desk Staff was very poor in customer skills. Would not return a hello, thank you, etc. Was told breakfast would be available in the morning, but it was not. Room was clean but amenities were very low level. Microwave would not work but the timer kept buzzing the whole time, the TV remote would only work intermittently, the toliet would barely flush. I would not recommend or book another stay. We booked for 2 nights but only stayed 1 because of the conditions.
