A wonderful find in Amsterdam. Only maybe 15 minutes walk from the centre, 2 minutes from a metro station and a bus stop if you didn’t fancy the walk. We were holidaying and the hotel had lots of business people in too but the atmosphere was great! That mix of people, nationalities and vibe was perfect. Cannot praise the staff enough, every single one we came into contact with was amazing. Our loft room had everything we could have needed, spacious, clean and on the right side of quirky! Just brilliant! We will 100% return, we loved our stay.

Always a good stay at Zoku

Always a good stay at Zoku, it's quirky and modern and very well equipped. Stayed in a grand loft which was nice and roomy. Obviously the big issue is bed here, which is up a set of stairs on a platform, when I first started staying here many years ago, this was great, now I'm a bit older it's a bit more of a hazard but otherwise great. The bar/restaurant/workspace is always good and the staff are really helpful and friendly.

Convenient location near attractions and train lines, yet a bit out of the way from all the touristy areas. The patios on the roof are a nice place to relax, drink a glass of wine, and enjoy the views. The restaurant is also tasty. The XL loft was a nice place to settle every evening of a week long stay.

10/10 recommend. I stayed here for 3 days and although I was initially a little disappointed that Zoku isn’t located in a busier neighborhood, the proximity to transportation, the quiet rooms, comfortable beds, friendly helpful staff, delicious food, and incredibly convenient rooftop work space more than made up for any initial hesitation. I will be looking to stay here again if I ever make my way back to Amsterdam again and highly recommend for anyone needing to mix and bit of work, travel, and leisure.

Expensive Hotel from Hell

The staff and cleanliness of the room for how expensive it is are very poor. The staff are not helpful or friendly. Not sure if they were on strike during my visit. The room was a disaster. The bed wasn’t made, dust everywhere, not enough towels, no fridge/microwave/anything to make the place a home. The window doesn’t even open all the way so if your A/C is bad you’re going to be very hot. Tbh don’t stay here. Come for the roof and the restaurant. Those are the best parts. I cancelled the rest of my stay after one night and found a better hotel. If you do stay here: There is luggage lockers on-site available before and after you check-in which is a lovely touch. You also have access to a shower even before check-in if you want to rinse off before enjoying the city. Location is lovely with shops and grocery just a 5 min walk away.
This is genuinely how the room looked when I walked in. I wish you could smell how bad the odor was.
