The staff was friendly and the room was reasonably priced for a family of four. We chose to walk from the hotel to downtown Amsterdam, and it was easily achievable. Although, the trolley did stop right outside the hotel , which would have made the trip much easier. I would not hesitate to book this hotel again.

In a strange location and possibly undergoing some refurbishment - reception seemed rather chaotic with self checkin plus reception desks. Unclear what the location would be good for, though it is opposite a tram stop. There are not really any nearby restaurants etc although there is a large supermarket and fridges in room to store snacks and drinks. The hotel itself doesn’t serve food during the day. Breakfast was terrible - moderate choice but very poor quality. The room itself was large and comfortable, with big windows and lots of natural light, and seemed clean although there was a bit of an odd smell on entry. My colleague had a top floor room which was apparently near windowless though - so ask for a room on a lower floor if daylight is important.
