The hotel is great honestly. Maybe not as close to the center but the rooms are spacious, the hotel is well maintained, there were different nglish language channels on TV. There's a very nice park infront of the hotel Rambrandt park. An 8 minute walk to amsterdam lelylaan station which is a small train station you can go to zaandam from that not needing to go to Central station. It is also a 5 minute train ride from there to the airport. There's also a tram station 2 minute walk from the hotel surinamplein station that takes you to leidsplein and Dam. Check in and check out was very smooth as well. But by far the spacious rooms is a nice change from normal room sizes in Amsterdam. Thank you Westcord hotel will definitely recommend to my friends and family.

The contemporay design did not lend itself to convenience. There wasnt a place for shampoos, conditioners or razors etc. in the shower. The bathroom door was glass so there is no privacy. Because of the door the option of a relaxing bath is out because the light disturbs anyone in bed trying to sleep or rest. Location is close to the airport. It's a pretty good walk to the city trolley. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

This is definitely one of the nicest hotels that I have stayed in . The room was massive, there was a gym and swimming pool which our 14 year old used everyday. The staff were so friendly and attentive. The sky bar had amazing views. If you don’t mind not staying in the centre it is only 2 stops on the train to Amsterdan centre and 1 to Schipol airport with a day return being 6.5 euros. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Amsterdam

Thankyou to the male that let us check in 4 hours early! Overall the staffing at this hotel were super! Also helped to provide cutlery for food ordered outside the restaurant. We did feel the tea/coffee wasn't quite stocked up, no coffee sachets along side the coffee machine. The complementary bathing products weren't checked on house keeping. Shower rooms are quite slippery had to keep my flip flops on. For a spa hotel no bathrobes are giving, disappoint, as felt unfortable wearing a towel to our room. Kept out suitcases in the holding room, till after 1530pm on check out day, used a security measure using tags i.e for reference numbers - loved this idea lady was extremely helpful. Sadly we didn't take note of names, but lovely staffing over all.
