Hip and trendy hotel catering to young professionals in their 20s and 30s. Packed with awesome amenities including two great restaurants, a coffee bar, a rooftop hot tub, a sauna, a communal workspace and a basement night club. The young, super-friendly staff set a great atmosphere, and the location, right next to the metro and 7 minutes from the city center, couldn't be more convenient. But beware that the club goes on until 6 AM on weekends, so you will hear some music in your room throughout the night.

The staff were all very nice and helpful for a first-time visitor like myself. My room was super clean and felt very cozy. The breakfast options were not terribly expensive, nor were the options at the terrace restaurant/bar. I felt very welcome during my entire stay, and the property is not far from many great things to see/do in Amsterdam. One of my favorite things was the rentable bikes the hotel offered. Very helpful in a city like this one

We (2 adults, 2 kids) stayed at the Volkshotel for two nights and found it was exciting and fun. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean, fun/different and the rooftop with sauna and hot tubs were appreciated by the entire family. The breakfast was not that special and could be had at a different location.

Beautiful hotel - amazing location for a few days in Amsterdam! Very friendly staff at hotel, and clean rooms. Lots of amazing food and drinks places nearby. Gorgeous cafe/bar downstairs with huge coworking area and very fair prices - lovely view from top of hotel bar with glass box corridor rooms on edge! We enjoyed the whole property. Staff upgraded our room to larger one and we loved our stay. Would definitely stay again in a heartbeat
