Right next to Dam Square, plenty of food and shopping options. Walkable to canal tours, central station and even Jordan area. Can be a bit noisy because we are next to the busiest street in Amsterdam.

Everytime I visit Amsterdam, I stay at Swissǒtel. I love that is right in Dam Square, with everything great that Amsterdam has to offer in walkable distance. It’s such a vibrant and buzzing city, and I will always return to enjoy my favourite city. To the staff, thanks for making my stay great.

Hotel was perfect for what we wanted. Great location and very clean and comfortable. Only issue we had was the temperature, the room was sweltering and we really couldn’t cool it as the aircon was set throughout the hotel to winter, so wouldn’t blow cold. This is the only reason I haven’t scored the hotel higher.

The Expedia listing showed on site parking or valet parking which was the main reason we booked it. Turns out there is no parking. It is a good location and a decent place, but would not have picked it knowing the parking situation.

Staff were extremely helpful, pleasant and efficient. The room was a decent size with a massive bed. The hotel is in the centre of the city, no need for taxi’s etc everywhere is in walking distance. Would certainly stay here again.
