Check-in staff was polite & friendly. Room linen was clean. Room could do with some repairs and upkeep as evident guests have climbed out of the window onto the flat roof to smoke and have damaged window frames in doing so. If you want a cheap-ish overnight stop with no frills this is the place to stay.

Based on the picture that is given online, it is a little deceptive as the room was a lot smaller than expected. In saying that, one has to remember that the older properties in Amsterdam are very narrow, to cram in many rooms, then the rooms are not going to be that large. What I will say is that the room was adequate for sleeping and showering in, it was clean and everything that one could want was there. The staff were always friendly and the hotel is in a great location, not far from the Central station and the main streets of the capital.
