Hotel was in a good location, right near the canals. I walked all over the city and felt safe. I also went out at night by myself and walked back to my room alone as well and felt safe. I slept well and there was a giant soaking tub in my room - that was unexpected. The staff were super helpful - even helped arrange for a taxi to the next train station for me night before my departure.

The Owl Hotel is a delightful, cozy, and well located hotel. The reception desk is manned 24-7 and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The Owl theme decor was fun and Basel the cat was the best amenity. The hotel is in an older building and has its idiosyncrasies, but suited our family quite well for our time in Amsterdam.

Wonderful staff and the hotel is located within walking distance of everything that you would want (food, bar, tourist attractions). The morning breakfast was very good! Our trip was during an unexpected heatwave at the hotel, which does not include air conditioning, however, the hotel included a fan which was very nice and helped us enjoy our trip. I would go back again.

A wonderful surprise, this boutique hotel was a great place to stay while visiting Amsterdam. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms cozy and comfortable after a day on the town. It was quiet, good for a nap while recovering from jet lag. The location is great, close to interesting streets of restaurants, the main museums and the trams for visiting the rest of Amsterdam.

We loved everything about our stay at the Owl Hotel. It is a lovely boutique hotel in a great neighborhood. Easy walk to museums including Van Gogh, bars, restaurants, trams and canal cruises. Very lovely courtyard in the back. Breakfast was available though I didn’t eat there. A bar available for a night cap at the end of the day. And all the staff were friendly and helpful. I hope I have the opportunity to stay at the Owl again someday
