The hotel is in a great location ... right on the Rembrandt Plaza. An easy walk to anywhere in central Amsterdam. We will be staying at NH Schiller the next time we visit.

NH Shiller's location on Rembrant Square is ideal for travelers as most everything is within walking distance. The tram also stops frequently for Central Station. Our room's view was spectacular (aside from the jumbo Escape Lounge screen directly across the square, which does get switched off at night). The hotel's interior is warm and charming. The breakfast buffet was good, though not icluded. Overall a great choice for our 5 nights stay.

Helpful and attentive staff. Loved the history behind the hotel and room size. Excellent on/off spot for the tram. Location allows for access to many sites and restaurants. Spotless rooms and property. A beer at the onsite restaurant is must. Will definitely visit again.

Amazing location! Steps away from a very popular city square with restaurants, bars and shopping. Easily accessible by public transportation. Though the square can get loud at night, the hotel offers double paned windows and earplugs. Free water available in the room and in the lobby. Free drink credit if you opt out of having your room cleaned everyday. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, going above and beyond. Will definitely be booking again when I’m back in Amsterdam!

Lovely older hotel in Rembrandtplein district. Very convenient to lots of Amsterdam highlights and a tram stop. The hotel was quiet and the staff was lovely. The breakfast is pricey, but nice to have available when you don't yet know the city.

A really lovely hotel in a great location. Everything we wanted to do was no more than a 15-20 minute walk away. Room was comfortable and they even left a little something in there on arrival to wish my husband a happy birthday. We’re already planning our next trip to Amsterdam and hoping to stay here again

Room was leaking water overhead in bathroom but was quickly moved to another room. Hotel is located in city center area very close to tram for easy access. University aged people party in front of hotel until five am every night so if your room is lower than third floor on front side of hotel you will likely have problem sleeping due to noise. There is a “coffee shop” ie pot cafe next door to hotel which contributes to the congregation of the all night party. The bar attached to hotel is nice place to have an evening beer or two. The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful in giving directions. Hotel is old but well kept and clean. Mini split ac in room was adequate and kept room comfortable. Descent places to eat within a hundred yards walking distance from hotel. Personally, I thought the rates were overpriced but unsure if you’d find better value in neighboring hotels. I’d suggest investigating rates in this area before booking. Overall, hotel is descent and always felt safe. I’d likely stay here again if in the area.
