Hotel Linden offered a wonderful experience. It was in the heart of a more residential (less touristy) section of Amsterdam but only a couple of short blocks from many restaurants. The hotel was immaculate. Very enjoyable.

Great location and helpful staff. Nice coffee/tea available 24/7. No breakfast onsite but good restaurants next door. Rooms are cozy and could use some updating but would definitely stay here again.

Helpful, friendly staff, clean room, great location away from the busy, touristy areas, but close enough to walk to all the popular sights. Our room in the front of the flatiron building had a nice view of the small canal and houseboats.

Hotel was in a great location! A nice quiet corner but walking distance to restaurants, grocery store and all the main attractions. A really neat historic building added to its charm. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Linden Hotel. The location was perfect for us - walking distance to the touristy areas but located in a quiet neighborhood in Jordaan. A quirky corner building with small but well appointed rooms. A terrific breakfast/lunch place right across the street - Moods. Highly recommend. We loved the Saturday market on the street. We would note that there are quite a few stairs, so something to be aware of - it was not an issue for us. There is a lift, but you may still have stairs. They provide a tray of delicious pastries in the afternoon in the reception area. Friendly and helpful staff.

Stayed here for 3 nights and overall it was an okay experience. The staff was very nice and helpful throughout my stay, which I really appreciated. However, I did feel the hotel was slightly overpriced for what was offered. The rooms were very small, and breakfast was not included, which made the price feel harder to justify. One thing I found especially odd was the bathroom setup, the shower drain was located outside of the shower area, so the entire bathroom floor would get wet every time I showered. I would consider recommending this place if the prices were lower, but as it stands, I do feel like I was overcharged for the experience.

+ Great Staff + Free Coffee and afternoon Pastries + Great location for restaurants and walking to attractions like Anne Frank House - Elevator only stops and every 2nd floor due to building layout - A/C didn't work well in our room even after staff showed us how to use remote - no screens on window resulted in late night street noise and mosquito bites! - Shower drain was in the middle of bathroom floor so floor always wet and slippery. Choose your room carefully as our double room was so small we had no space for 2 suitcases and had to keep one in bathroom and constantly moving them around. Double bed was against the wall so only accessible from one side. Not recommend for seniors or anyone with mobility issues Stairs are steep especially if you are on a floor the elevator didn't access. Unfortunately this was not a good choice for us
