The room was an odd shape with a low portion to the ceiling which limited the room space. The room had a solid window which was falling off its’ hinges and would not remain secure. The breakfast was very good with a very pleasant and helpful staff.

Positives - An excellent location, close to museums and the center. Clean room and clean bedding. Negative -We were given a room in the basement, it was very noisy as next to the lift shaft. The bathroom smelled like drains sewer which permeated the room. No room cleaning or fresh towels until I went to the front desk. Apparently you must request a servicing of your room. First night very cold and wet, no heating in the room. Second night heat came on.

After my first night, I discovered that the air conditioning was leaking, and the floor was wet. I also noticed mold on the wall. When I informed the staff about these issues and requested a change of rooms, they informed me that there was nothing they could do but send in a maintenance man. However, it wasn’t until I called Expedia customer support that my problem was resolved. The manager of the hotel was very kind and offered me a complimentary breakfast while I waited for a new room.

Nice hotel and friendly staff. Location close to vondel park and museum quarter. Tram to city within 5 minute walk. Room was small and the air con was leaking leaving the carpet wet. Reported it to reception on departure so hopefully the next quests do not have the same issue. Overall good stay.

What we needed was heat, and found out it was a window unite so in order to use it you have to pull the drapes open so the unit doesn’t burn the curtains, and we were there on the 1st floor, so there was a privacy problem. Breakfast was fantastic
