Checked in was very quick and I arrived at noon and booked for 2 nights single room and they didn’t have single room on first night so I got to sleep in triple bed with private shower and bathroom for one night and moved to my original reservation at single bed room the next day. No problems everything was quick and got to check in early. Location is amazing 20 mins walk from central station and beautiful Amsterdam and the bathroom is very basic - I guess it’s typical bathroom in old Amsterdam houses. Be careful with the stairs and overall great stay and it’s very basic accommodation so don’t expect luxury

First of all, like I read in other post, this hotel is very simple with dated rooms. The shower is tiny! We were comfortable. There are no amenities. We had a great view from our room. This hotel has very steep stairs, no lift. Be prepared if you have bad knees! We went during the summer, therefore we had the window open. It is loud outside, lots of talking and traffic.

Was really bad, I know I booked the "cheapest option" as the staff said but as a solo traveler I thought it'll be a good option, I checked in and I just said to the guy that I can't stay here and checked out and left. Waste of money. It was really disgusting I'm sorry, maybe their other rooms are better,

I had a great stay, my expectations were very small as to reading the reviews, but to be fair you get what you pay for. This place is perfect for a short stay, I was only in town for two days for a concert so it suited me very well. The carpet floor was dirty and sticky so i wouldnt reccommend walking inside the room without slippers on, other than that it was alright. Its very central and I loved the tree view from my room.

Well I am now aware thats its a 1 star property, but I don't seem to recall noting that when booked it. I was aware I wasn't booking the ritz but this place was awful. Ive noted that the details on expedia have changed since I booked. The room was in bad repair, no amenities, even basics of a cup or glass, no toilet in the room. shower was missing parts so it was esentially a hose. Bed was awful, far too soft and its teh smallest double I ever saw.

Worst hotel Ive ever stay. Dirty like an Indian motel. Bed like a jail, mattres are extremely old, they wanted to charge me extra 300 Euro in addition of what was already paid in full in Cheaptikets, had to call support and cheaptixkets heped me with the issue, but condition of the hotel is extremely bad, however you are n the center of everything. Very sad this place could be a gem but they have it in really bad condition.
