The location of hotel Cornelisz is optimal, easy to come in and out. The room is clean however not in optimal conditions. It was comfy enough and good light in the room. We enjoyed our stay. One thing to keep in mind is the tax that’s meant to be payed at the property by arrival, we where charged a different amount than what was quoted and neither Expedia nor the hotel honored their quote. They charged us 15% additional. Didn’t love this part but there was no way for us to make them honor the quoted price. Overall stay was ok. Staff was ok, not overly friendly. The area around is beautiful close to everything - walking distance to everywhere. Uber won’t come to hotel door, you need to walk 3 minutes to get your uber.

This hotel was in a great location and we enjoyed good sleep here. Unfortunately, the tv didn’t work and the sun screen was broken. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic! As was the proximity to the museum quarter of Amsterdam.

Staff was helpful. Loved the location…not in the middle of the busiest tourist area but not far, still walkable and tram options nearby. Good value for Amsterdam and I would stay there again. I knew the room would be small but two people with not even a lot of luggage was tight. Opt for the larger room.

Perfect location, we easily walked to many restaurants, museums and parks. Street cars stop nearby and central station is a short ride or 20 minute walk. Hotel is simple but comfortable. I enjoyed the breakfast.

Central location, very clean room with private bathroom. On a quiet street with luxury shops and boutique cafes. Very good breakfast made it easy to grab a bite to eat before going to museums nearby. Would have been nice to have a mini fridge in room to keep drinks cold, but since there are vending machines in lounge and several nearby convenience store we were fine. Bed was comfy, we had a fan in the room on 5th floor which worked great, but may not be suitable if air conditioning is a necessity. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Amsterdam as location was perfect.

Definitely book with the breakfast! Delicious and lots of variety. It’s quieter than the downtown area. Very convenient to the museums and canal boat tours (which are also fantastic). Close to Vondelpark too for tranquility and greenery. No air conditioning but that’s typical for Amsterdam. The room was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
