Showers and washrooms outside the room. It is a dorm inside the city. Cheap and that is what you get for that price. In all honesty; the Amsterdam Marathon was on and all hotel prices were incredibly inflated. You go for cheap, you ride it out. Staff was great though

This so-called hotel was less than a hostel! No amenities at all! Only bunker beds were provided! Simply a fraudulent offering online! I demand a refund or compensation from you!

Very convenient central location.

Very central location only a short walk from the central railway station. The rooms are small, but the Hotel is clean and comfortable, I have now stayed here 4 times as it is so convenient. The staff are very friendly and helpful, but one point to remember is that the very steep stairs might not be suitable for older travellers. Philip B.

Expect extreme amounts of noise at all hours. This place is directly on a busy walking corner with lots of partying going on all through the night until the morning. You are directly above the smoking and loud yelling all night.

The prices aren't steep, but the Staircaises are.

I stayed in the top floor room w/ my wife and two boys (8 & 15yr). You get what pay for - Absolutely no frills w/ this place, but it did provide a clean room and shared toilet experience. The bedding was clean. The shared toilet was clean. The in-room shower was clean and functional, but not a pleasant and relaxing experience.

I would call this a hostel rather than a hotel. The staff were amazing from the receptionist to the cleaner. It’s really noisy so don’t expect to get much sleep, it is an old building though so I didn’t expect soundproofing. There isn’t a lift (again as one would expect) and the stairs are rather steep. Shampoo and body wash 2 in one available in the bathroom, if you get an en-suite room. The location is amazing

Facilities need Attention

It should not be listed as a hotel. Maybe a hostel. Room was not clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. The staircase railings need to be repaired and secured firmly to prevent a serious slip and fall liability incident from happening. Super convenient location!

An ok Hotel in an Excellent area. The staff were nice and helpful, the bed was reasonable and the shower itself was brilliant (powerful and the temperature was very easy to adjust). Improvements: The Hotel has a lot of potential. It really need a refurbishment - new carpets, new paint on the walls, new doors, and whilst the shower itself was good, the shared shower room and toilet room really needs renovating. It’s a perfectly good hotel, with nice staff and in a perfect location with so many things within a reasonable walking distance. I just think with a good renovation, it’ll become even better.
