This is the perfect place to stay for a short break to Amsterdam. The views of the river from our room were superb. We used the air con through the night and it was quiet and effective. The breakfast selection was excellent and set us up for a day of exploring. The hotel was clean and the eating areas spacious. The only downside was the lack of warmth from the reception staff, they were polite and efficient but lacked a friendly smile. The restaurant staff were however very friendly and welcoming.

Excellent room and staff. The breakfast buffet had a good variety and was well prepared. We gave the hotel 4 stars instead of 5 because our daughter joined us on this trip and the fold-out bed was very uncomfortable. This bed was apparently old and not in good shape.. The head and foot of the bed were higher than the middle due to a significant sag and the springs were painfully prominent. Other than this, the hotel is excellent and we recommend it - just check the extra bed when you check in.
