The hotel is superbly located - a bus ride from the airport and a quick walk to museums - in a delightful, quiet residential neighbourhood. I loved the bunk beds but would really suggest they put in better mattresses. Very nice breakfast and welcome drink were also much appreciated!

This is an amazing hotel. It feels like a family run property and is painstakingly cared for. Everything was so clean and beautiful and the staff was beyond nice. The breakfast in the morning was a good value and they make eggs to order fresh for each guest. They have an honesty bar and it's very easy to get a soda or a beer whenever you want one. Plus your room has a mini fridge with drinks and it is all included in the room price. It's so easy to take a tram or a bus anywhere in Amsterdam from the hotel. There is a supermarket within walking distance and the building itself is a beautiful, traditional Dutch home. The stairs are a little steep inside but that's okay because they have an elevator. Would definitely stay here again.

This boutique hotel in the museum quarter was absolutely wonderful. Spacious double deluxe room, elevator, breakfast and lounge area with courtyard patio to relax, honesty system for drinks. We loved our stay at the De Ware Jacob Boutique Hotel! The staff working here are so friendly and helpful. They shared maps and recommendations with us and were genuinely interested in making sure we had a great stay with them. This hotel is quaint and charming with its unique boutique design. The breakfast was delicious and nourishing with a variety of options. We appreciate being able to rent bikes directly from the hotel which is a helpful service. Thank you for the complimentary drinks and snacks and a personalized greeting note was left on our bed upon arrival. 10/10 for us! Thank you!
