House keeping request stupid idea. Had to book before 9:00 am to request a clean but this is not convenient as you might not leave until after this time. We did this but they never came. Kitchen did not have proper dishwashing cloth to wash dishes only a brush Stated five days and not one replacement of supplies in 5 nights. And no recycling process in place. All dow to not having a regular housekeeping. They stated it was environmental initiative which is stupid ais they don’t recycle anything. And cannot be bothered to pay staff to clean regularly

I didn't get my room cleaned, and even though I requested it, I was told that they could not clean it due to a staff shortage and their new sustainable rules. They couldn't do it even if it took them only 5 minutes. The restaurant closed on Sunday and Monday for lunch and dinner. The only positive comment about the Reception Stuff is that they have tried so much to help me, but due to their cleaners, their hands are tied.

Home away from home - in a hotel 🤗

Great stay. Great restaurant. Fully equipped 24 hour gym. Self service laundry on 3 floors. Indoor garage or park outside for free. Spacious room with new state of the art showers. Full kitchen. Great front desk customer service; thank you Eva. Friendly and helpful housekeeping; thank you Connie. 🙏 This was my first stay across Europe. It was so great that I stayed there again when I returned to Amsterdam before flying back to the USA.

Very good staff, but otherwise ….

Staff very good, location okay, design unusual - not well thought out. For example: Bathroom open to bedroom and one could hear the waste water of the floors above all the time (including the night). Water pressure very poor. Bathtub had an open crack, that was only partially repaired. Sink tap loose. Entrance door alarmed, but no explanation that it was or how to turn off. Also, noted that outside parking area concrete tiles were loose and damaged, which are a trip hazard. As well as the car ramps being too sharp / steep causing many cars to scrap their underside. General poor design.

Apparently the Radisson management thinks it's OK to lock room thermostats to 23 degrees Celsius in the middle of the winter. (Seems to be a common practice in Amsterdam.) After the complaint, the reception staff will pretend to have fixed it via computer, have you go up and down several times, and then pretend they have no clue why it's not possible to raise the temperature. Instead of admitting their policy and at least offering an extra duvet (or god forbid a small electric heater), they prefer to insult guests' intelligence. Excatly what a person needs in the midnight after an entire day of vegetating at the airport due to their flight being delayed for several hours only to be cancelled, and having to come back to the city. Disgrace of hospitality. Shame because it's a nice hotel otherwise.

The staff were all terrific and lovely. Super friendly. Nice breakfast every morning, including made to order omelets, etc. Liked the option to not have housekeeping every day. (We were touristing around and not in the room much so not necessary.) We booked a suite for our 4 person group - up on the top floor. The open shower room concept looks fancy and lovely but just a little more tilt toward the drain would be a huge help in not getting a lake in the middle of the room. (This is one of those if-that-is-the-only-thing-wrong-reviews.) Yes, you can walk to the tram easily - about 15-20 minute walk. It’s at the end of a street with office buildings so I can see it being quite convenient if you are visiting one of those businesses.

I would like a refund. This was the worst experience in a hotel I have ever had the misfortune of being a part of. Here is what was not working in our room the ENTIRE stay, we had the suite with the kitchen: 1. The safe was broken 2. The Air Con/Heating was not working, and our room was freezing 3. Wifi was not working 4. The tablet was broken, this tablet gives you access to everything, reception, tv etc. You were not able to call reception as it was broken, and you were not able to adjust the volume on the TV as it was broken. 5. The TV system was not updated, so things like Netflix were not working and needed "maintenance" to fix it 6. The bathtub had clear makeup stains, I have photos 7. Towels had clear black stains, I have photos I called repeatedly from my phone, to ask for help but because it was in the evening "Geert" told me nobody works in the evenings and therefore we could not be helped. The next day I went and spoke to someone at the front desk and said can we at least make the minor fixes for the heating because it is absolutely freezing at night, or please move us and please fix the tablet so we can at least contact you. I was told I would be notified if the fixes could be made or if we were going to be moved. I was not, no fixes were made. The next evening I had the misfortune of speaking to "Geert" in the evening again. There is vide recordings in the hotel I am sure so please look over how this conversation went. Part two will be emailed..
