The staff were extremely helpful and anticipated our needs. We enjoyed the decor and artful use of spaces throughout the property. The canal location was charming. I have nothing but praise for this hotel. Staff were wonderful, room was large with a hugh bathroom, exceptionally clean, breakfast was delightful and the location is great for walking around Amsterdam.

The hotel is as in a great location. The hotel staff were friendly. They here is a cool vibe with the library bar. The only draw back was that the he canal side room we stayed in had a lot of street noice. Noice from the restaurant, then traffic and in the morning office workers walk by talking which is all normal. It’s just constant rooms are also typically small though well appointed. AC was weak so room stayed on the warm side

The Ambassade was a welcome surprise in Amsterdam. A small jewel of a hotel in a wonderful central location, within walking distance to museums, Jordaan, shopping and the train station. We loved the intimate setting and personalized service. Definitely recommend!

Great hotel with lovely staff who couldn't do enough for you. One point to note, as the hotel is made up of multiple properties, even though there is a lift , most rooms require you to walk up and down some stairs.

Wow. We had an overnight in Amsterdam and thought we’d stay in the canal area. So glad we did. What a gorgeous hotel. Perfectly quirky, full of art in every space with a restaurant and bar, and several reading rooms. Our room was comfortable and well-designed for a small space. Bathroom was large though and included towel heaters. I’d recommend and stay here again. It’s truly lovely.
