Nice, good value apartment with just enough space for our family of four. Appreciated the kitchen facilities, especially the coffee pad machine and two bedrooms was a bonus. The steps up to them are steep though and would be a challenge to the mobility impaired, and as someone mentioned, the ‘exit’ light is ridiculously bright - we thought it was time to get up at 2am! Everything else is a positive though including the appealing location which is close to transport, eateries etc. Recommended!

The garden apartments were as advertised. Very clean with some supplies provided. The staff communicated well and were very responsive.

The worst point was that the garden was in building. Few menage in the kitchen. The best, near the centrum , calefaction and new furniture in the apartment.

Nice location but uncomfortable in summer

Location was great in a beautiful neighborhood. The apartment was very quiet being within a courtyard. The apartments really lack air circulation and light as the only way to get either in the apartment was to leave the front door open which in the summer isn't ideal with the bugs but was way too hot. Windows in bedroom are hard to open as the beds block them.

The person who checked me in was very kind, but everything else was extremely disappointing. The address listed on the booking was only for picking up the keys, and afterwards we had to walk about 15 minutes to the actual apartment. When we arrived, the place was dirty, very noisy, and looked nothing like the photos shown on Expedia. I have already opened a claim with customer service because I feel misled — the pictures do not reflect the reality of the apartment I was given. If I don’t receive a solution or refund, I will dispute the charge with my bank, as the description and photos do not match what I received.

Sleeping with the Lights On...

Have you ever wanted a permanent night light if your room, the size and color of an emergency exit sign? Well, this is your place. In case you forget where the door is in the small, studio apartment, the management (or likely local building code organization) wanted to ensure you were completely safe. We taped a pizza box and a scarf over the sign to make it dark enough to sleep, but definitely an annoying part of the apartment. The shower also had a bad smell. We had a maintenance guy throw some chemicals at the bathroom after day one. After another 36 hours or so, the smell came back. The place is not the finest establishment, with water marks on the walls, patched holes not painted, broken TV, insufficient utensils (we were given only one spoon), and old furniture...but the price was one of the more affordable places in the area. You get what you pay for.

Das Zimmer ist ruhig und zentral gelegen. je nach anderen Gästen kann es aber auch laut werden im Innenhof. in der Dusche war der Wasserhahn defekt und aber etwas schwer zu bedienen. dazu war der Bewegungsmelder des Lichtes im Bad wahrscheinlich auch defekt. er ging an und stellte nach 2-3 Sekunden gleich wieder ab, um dann nach 2 Sekunden Dunkelheit gleich wieder anzugehen, so wie in einer Disco. wir nahmen einen Regenschirm als Verlängerung und konnten so am Bewegungsmelder abstellen am Tag, volllicht machten m Abend, und für die Nacht wieder abstellen. zum Glück haben wir das herausgefunden, weil es sonst sehr unangenehm gewesen wäre. besonders irritierend was, was im Schlafraum über der Eingangstüre ein grosses Notausgangs-Licht montiert war, das konstant leuchtete. wie fanden das recht irre , so was in einem Schlafraum zu montieren, mit diesem grellen unangenehmen Licht, das man nicht abschalten konnte. Wir banden ein Schwarzes Tuch darum, dann konnten wir schlafen. wir waren eine Woche dort und hatten nicht herausgefunden wie es möglich ist die Schmutzigen Badetücher zumindest einmal wechseln zu können. durch unsere Anpassungen in der Unterkunft war es dann okay, ohne diese wäre es eine Zumutung gewesen.

Very bad experience :(

Really don’t recommend!!! I stayed there with 3 of my friends, On our first night there we got robbed! We were sleeping and some one got in to our apartment, opened the safe, stole all our money and phones. The owner didn’t even care and nothing was Done from his side to assist us. We come every year to Amsterdam but something like that never happened. They opened the door and the safe while we were sleeping. Very terrifying experience.

Cozy and quirky

The apartment is very cozy and quirky. The bathroom had a slight smell (they came to fix it, but it came back), and the entrance could use some remodeling. However, I would recommend it for a family traveling together.

Nice Location

The hotel is in a great location, walking distance from many restaurants, coffee shops and public transportation. The check in location and the apartment were a few blocks a part which made checking in with luggage a bit of a hassle. Check out is easier since you can just leave the keys on the table. Our biggest complaint is the smell from the bathroom, our bathroom smelled like a porta potty on a hot summer day. When we walked all the way back to the main hotel the woman stated that they were sold out the next day so we could not change our room. Someone came to assess the issue and just dumped some chemicals in our bathroom, it masked the smell for the first night but the smell returned. Also the room was dusty with some spider webs. Our TV didn't work and they were able to fix it the next day. Over all we were satisfied with the location of the apartment but nothing else. I would not recommend staying here.
