“The portion sizes were very generous and the food delicious- would highly recommend you eat here if you’re staying, and the breakfast is equally massive. The staff are lovely and I was greeted by name in the morning (which I’ve never had in a stay anywhere, especially as I’ve an unusual name) which made me feel welcome. “We arrived at this hotel in its superb setting enormously cheerful. We were met by a male of surly demeanour with a charisma bypass. I have found prison officers, when visiting my clients, more cheerful and welcoming. His initial charming greeting, a flat, harmless 'you okay?' didnt lift our spirits but after getting over our encounter we loved our room and breakfast was great. Get rid of that harmless man and we will return.”
