This is a budget hotel. The rooms are basic with no AC & no closets. They give no hand towels. There is no AC. The staff was rude, especially one of the ladies working the front desk. You'll get the bare minimum here. You get what you pay for. I'd stay elsewhere.

Nice hotel option in Amboise
Comfort double was large enough for two people to spend several nights. Location is great, staff is very attentive and helpful. Parking wasn't an issue as there are few free lots within 5 minute walk.

Très bien situé
Situé très proche de la rue piétonne, du chateau etc. Le parking est 250m de l hotel et est sécuritaire mais est 10 euros par jour. Le stationnement qui est gratuit est celui dans les rues. Les chambres sont petites mais ceci est bien indiqué dans la description de hotels.com. J y retournerais

This is a fairly basic hotel in a great location close to the centre of town. We stayed for one night. The woman at reception when we arrived, Sharon, was simply brilliant - friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hotel has a car park (you need to book it in advance) a short distance away - 10 Euros - which was very convenient as parking in the town is all on meters. In addition we were allowed to leave the car there until 12 noon which meant we could head off and visit the chateau without worrying about the car. There were however a couple of negatives. Our room was really quite small - just about OK for one night but not much more. Also the toilet was a bit malodorous. The latter two items made me consider giving the hotel a less good rating but Sharon's very positive contribution persuaded me not to.
