Our visit here was excellent. The property seems extraordinarily new or recently refurbished. The room was quite large given its close proximity to the downtown streets of Amboise. Well located in Amboise. We stayed for 3 nights while visiting the Loire. We had a studio so didn’t take the breakfast option. Parking is paid per day. On arrival it took us a little time to locate the road - it’s quite a narrow 1 way street, though that’s not unusual in Amboise! So best to check your route before arrival. We always found a parking space when arriving but it was not peak season - I suspect it might be trickier in high season when the place is full. Plenty of Restaraunts within easy walking. The studio apartment has a basic kitchen - microwave, fridge, kettle and sink - so adequate for organising breakfast. So in summary, good location, adequate parking (though might be tricky in peak season) and the studio apartments are comfortable if somewhat basic.

Beautifully restored hotel but was very sterile maybe because it was newly opened. The halls echoed with concrete but nicely painted. Our room was on the 1st floor over the entrance which was noisy with people returning at night or children playing out front. The last day the hostess warmed when engaged. Has great potential!! However as there was no air conditioning every room had their windows wide open day and night. This is a brand new hotel; yes some areas are being worked on as previous reviews advise. However, we stayed for 4 days mid August and further works I suspect had been completed. We found the hotel to be lovely. The staff were great and very helpful with things like advising on restaurants and booking cabs etc. The outdoor pool area is great, gated for safety and with the added benefit of a lift up to it. I think this is superb for those with limited mobility. The rooms are compact but well thought out and nicely decorated. It’s a 5 minute walk into the main area of Amboise. You can reach everywhere on foot. We liked it so much, we stayed another 4 days. A nice place to relax.

Beautiful property great location. My major issue was with the air-conditioning. There was none. It was a hot day in Amboise and the room was stifling. I opened the window to cool down but got bit by mosquitoes. I spoke to the front staff who said their heating and cooling were an eco-friendly system that didn’t work well on extreme temperature days. Other than that lovely day.
