The property was immaculate. Every room was very clean and tidy. Very comfortable for 2 adults, not sure how 4 adults would feel as it might be a bit on the small side, especially if you are tall people as the ceilings are low. Parking might be a bit tricky. There is space outside for one car, although the road is narrow at that point. There seems to be space on the next road along though, or as the owner suggests in the nearby pay carpark. Its handy to walk into Ambleside or down to the lake as we did. The information book contains a lot of useful information both about the property, the surrounding area and things to do. We enjoyed our stay.

Love house but difficult kommunication

We had som issues with a front door that couldn’t open or -once opened- was very diffiicult to lock. We found the communication with the company very difficult and it took five days (out of a seven days stay) to get it sorted. Afterwards we were told there was nothing wrong with the door??
