Had a wonderful 3 night stay. Can’t find any fault with this beautiful guest house. Such welcoming and friendly owners, lovely clean, cosy room and tasty breakfast! Easy walking distance to lovely restaurants and pubs and of course in the most beautiful spot

Jan & Jim our hosts were wonderful. The accommodations were roomy & comfortable. Grasmere is a wonderful place to stay in the Lake District and Beck Allens is nicely located in Grasmere. Enjoyed hearing the sound of the nearby creek from our guest house.

Very helpful proprietors who were very considerate and seemingly couldn't do enough to help. Great location in the centre of Grasmere close to all amenities with parking provided. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again

Beautiful B &B in the centre of Grasmere

This is our 2nd time here and Jim and Jenny are the best hosts. It's a beautiful house, right by the river. Very comfortable with delicious breakfasts.

Wonderful 3 night stay at Beck Allan’s guesthouse back in November. Our hosts were really friendly and happy to offer local knowledge and sightseeing tips for the area. 5/5 facilities, kept to a very clean and high standard. Breakfast was really tasty, made with local produce. Brilliant first visit to the Lake District- we shall be back.

Exceptional property, but it is Jen and Jim that really make it worth a visit. They maintain it to the highest possible standards - appearance, facilities, breakfast - but it is their personalities that really make it stand out. Highly recommended.

Simple fabulous, Jenny and Jim make you feel so welcome, Thier local knowledge of walks is really helpful. My husband has dietary requirements and Jenny went out of her way to accommodate him even baking a special cake for him, can’t recommend highly enough

What a great place to stay! The guest house is located in the heart of Grasmere and it’s overlooking a river - very peaceful. Jim and Jen are the best! There was cake on arrival and the breakfast was so tasty. We will certainly be recommending to others.

The property is picture perfect with a creek running next to it and a nice back garden ideal for relaxing. It's located in the heart of the village so everything is only a few steps away but it doesn't feel busy. The best thing about Beck Allans is the owners, Jenny and Jim. They made us feel so welcome and comfortable and have a wealth of information about the local area. The breakfasts were excellent.

Outstanding B&B in the Lake District

Booked as part of a long weekend with my partner in the Lake District. Perfectly situated in the middle of Grasmere for easy access to local amenities, walks round nearby Grasmere/Rydal lake or for adventurous trips further afield. Jim and Jenny were fantastic hosts and genuinely couldn’t have done more! Can’t wait to return and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the Lakes.

This was our first stay at Beck Allans Guesthouse with Jenny and Jim. What an absolute gem of a find. The guesthouse was fantastic, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The breakfast was one of the best we have had, all locally sourced quality produce and Jenny and Jim are brilliant hosts who could not have been more friendly and hospitable. The only negative was we had to come home. We will definitely be returning very soon and would not hesitate to recommend the guesthouse to anyone

A perfect stay!

I would highly recommend the Beck Allans Guesthouse. The room facilities were perfect, from the cleanliness to the high quality linens & towels to the very comfortable bed! For breakfast, everything was locally sourced and the continental breakfast was excellent! Our hosts Jenny and Jim were very welcoming and friendly with lots of advice for walks and places to visit & Jenny's flapjack was a welcome treat. The guesthouse was in a great location, right in the centre of Grasmere overlooking the river, with lots of places to eat very close by without having to travel by car. Thank you Jenny and Jim we will be back soon!
