“Fantastic 2 night stay for an Alton Towers family trip. Brilliant host who helped us hope with the heat and even provided a cute treasure hunt in the cottage for the kids! The secret kids shed was also a big highlight! Very nice pub within walking distance as well as a handy local convenience store nearby too! Would definitely recommend :)”

“Nicely decorated rooms. Comfortable. Parking was a bit of an issue, not much space. we had 2 cars & the road was v busy to cross.”

“No Breakfast”

“Arrived early and was able to check in promptly. Didn’t use any of the amenities as was out all afternoon and eve but did have breakfast in the morning which was exceptional. Shower was initially cold first thing but by the time I had breakfast the water was hot. I would consider staying again when I’m in the area. The manager “Grace” couldn’t have been more helpful and was polite. Nothing too much trouble.”

“Hottest day in May on record and the heating was on in my room. After speaking with staff three times and an hour and a half later, I was moved to another room. In spite of the wonderful advert featuring a restaurant I was told no kitchen tonight. Second room was very noisy overlooking the car park which doubles as a camping ground for motor homes, with ten present. No mattress cover and a very dirty mattress. Black mould on the bathroom ceiling which had been painted over but still showed...
