A very quiet weekend in the country.

Very quiet country retreat that is 4.5kms from a made up road, about 7kms from the nearest town which takes about 25 minutes to drive because of the rough track from the Finca. When requesting the evening meal we were told in summer only a cold meal was served ,which consisted of good quality cold meats, sausage, cheese and bread with wine and water. There was only a verbal menu. The cost of the meal was between 50 to 60 € for two persons which I thought was a bit excessive but should have asked how much it would be and after all we did not have to drive down that track ! The room and facilities were adequate but air con would have been a bonus.
