We had a lovely stay at the Oaks. The staff were all very helpful, and the food was delicious in the bar in the evening, and the breakfast was also great! The car park was always busy, but we were always able to find a space.

Very comfortable bed we slept well and good shower. There was an unpleasant smell not sure what was causing it but everything else was good. We ate in the bar due to the rain and staff were very friendly and food portions enormous.

Second stay at the property. Very welcoming hotel and lovely breakfast included. It's within walking distance of Alnwick town centre. Rooms clean and nicely decorated. Ample parking onsite and overall an excellent place to stay! We will be returning again later in the year!

Welcoming staff, Alnwick is lovely. Room large, clean with tea and biscuits- great. Standard pub food, leak and potato soup more mash potato, but gammon and chips nice. Good helpful service throughout

Easy to find, friendly and helpful staff. Room was a bit dated and looked like bathroom had been updated but still needed a good clean on paintwork, which also needed painting. Door to room was not tight fitting and light from landing was visible all night down one side.

The location of the hotel, the standard room we were given were just right for us. We particularly liked the ceiling fan which provided much needed cooling. So much better eco friendly than air-conditioning. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming or friendly and the food was excellently cooked with plenty to choose from. Go hungry to do the food justice. Drinks and food prices offer good value. Nothing seemed too much trouble and we'd heartily recommend a stay there to anyone.

Great, friendly staff and easy to park and the room was a good size for a single. Only marked as 3/5 as room was above the kitchen extractor fans which were only turned off between 9.30 - 6.00. So if you book as a single remember the earplugs! Would happily return but maybe check booking to ensure it’s not that end of the hotel. Gluten free options well catered for at breakfast but evening options are limited.

This is the best room i have stayed in within this kind of setting. I booked a single budget room. It was brilliant. Very large room with a small double bed in it , much better than a single bed. Lovely bedding. Lovely spacious bathroom with fabulous products.no need to bring your own. Great brands of tea, coffee and biscuits. At breakfast i ask ed for mine to be cooked well done however it came back with pale bacon and sausage. All i ate was the egg. However their was lovely berries, greek yoghurt and toast with choice of jams etc. I would still recommend this place .

Be aware sat nav sends you down the wrong road to access carpark, as you look at it face on, the carpark is on the road to the left of it. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking in carpark at back . Excellent breakfast. Enjoyed a lovely evening meal there. Good selection of wine and beer. Comfy beds. Clean.

Very good small hotel. We enjoyed a lovely pub meal and friendly service when we stayed. Breakfast was a bit disappointing with the full range of buffet items unavailable eg cheese and cold meats.The waitress was clearly not familiar with the menu. Room was small but very suitable for the night. Parking was good and it was very dog friendly with a separate dog menu. I would recommend it and would not hesitate to return.
