A really lovely hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, very well maintained and spotless hotel, our room was spacious with a fantastic terrace overlooking the castle, large well appointed bathroom. Excellent food in the restaurant. My wife is coeliac and they knew exactly how to cater for her dietary requirements, nothing was too much trouble. And the location is perfect, across the road from the castle and short walk to the local shops, bars and restaurants. Will definitely stay here again

This is a first class hotel worthy of a Michelin rating. The service was excellent from the moment they met us, parked our car and took us to our beautiful room and expansive bathroom. The bar with cozy fire was relaxing for a pre dinner drink and to meet others. The chef delivered on quality meals and those waiting on us exceeded expectations. The room was stunning . We had views of the castle. The staff were exceptional. Lisa from the restaurant was so helpful and very kind. The whole stay was relaxing and welcoming.
